Tell Laura I Love Her

由梁朝偉主演的新難兄難弟中，梁朝偉曾經唱過一首歌，〝Tell Laura I Love Her〞，剛聽到這首歌的時候就被感動到不行，當下就有一股衝動想要把它的歌詞跟歌曲都找出來。事隔多年，我一直沒去做這件事，直到今天，同樣的憑著一時的衝動，我把它的歌詞跟中文翻譯都挖出來了。新難兄難弟的劇情我都忘了差不多了，但這首歌的旋律一直徘徊在我腦海裡，60年代的懷舊老歌曲調總是帶著點淡淡的哀愁，附帶點輕搖滾，正對我的胃口。歌詞是在敘說一個年輕人為了要贏得高額的獎金去參加賽車比賽，而這都是為了他的愛人，Laura。雖然這樣的行為並不值得鼓勵，但這樣的精神值得敬佩，至少我不覺得我會這麼做。現在也很少有這樣劇情式的歌詞，絕大多數都是空泛的談情語氣罷了；談情說愛不是不行，但氣氛的營造才更為重要，聽一首歌還能有畫面，就如同讀一本書一樣，讓聽者、讀者盡情發揮想像力，揮灑屬於自己的空間這才是厲害的地方。
